Adwan Alwan is from Taez City in the Republic of Yemen, where he studied Tourism Management and Hotel Management in the University of Business Studies in Taez. Adwan was the coordinator and creator of the “Together-Ma’an” Initiative which works in three Middle East Countries: Yemen, Tunisia, and Palestine. He worked as a trainer in the Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, and a trainer in the field of democracy and good governance in addition to his work for being a consultant in many youth initiatives. Awad worked as a project coordinator in many centers and international organizations operating in Yemen like Mercy Corps and the Center for International Law and Human Rights, with the support of US-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Awad is now the director youth unit of the Centre for International Law and Human Rights in Yemen.
