Raed Al Ghani is famous under the name of “Raed Al Asady or Raed the Lion” born in Baghdad, Iraq where he attained his Bachelor from the Heritage/Carpeting College. He is a poet, journalist and designer of Work Programs on Ashour Channel, Mesopotamia Channel, Rika Channel, Voice of People, Radio Conference, Radio Documentary, Way of People Newspaper, Truth Newspaper he has published a variety of articles in newspapers and magazines. Al Asadi is a member of the People’s Writers Union, and in the Iraqi Press Association, and the National Media Center, he is the Secretary of the Iraqi Youth Federation, and a member in the resigned Iraqi Network for Democracy, and the Forum of Young Poets. He has been an active member in the Civil Popular Democratic Movement since 2003. He is currently an employee at the Ministry of Science and Technology.
