Rashid Al Oboussti is from the Kingdom of Morocco having a Bachelor of Islamic Studies from the Humanities and Sociology Department from Ibn Zohor University. Rashid works as a political activist in the Youth Association for Culture and Development, and is the general writer of the association since 2008 where he was re-elected for the same position after combining the election votes in 2013. Rashid participated in a number of training and formative workshops organized and funded by the US-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and other regional and international organizations related to: methods and techniques of preparing development projects, strengthening the capacity of civil society leaders in Southern Morocco. He is also involved in projects for youth integration, and a number of social and political topics.
