Paul Abi Rached

Paul Abi Rached

Paul Abi Rached is the founder and president of T.E.R.R.E. Liban. He holds a bachelors’ degree in law from the Lebanese University, and is a facilitator and trainer of environmental education since 1991. He is also the composer of many songs related to ecological education. In 1995, he founded the environmental education campaign T.E.R.R.E. through a recycling project called Papivore Malin, which led to the creation of T.E.R.R.E. association in 2002. He was selected by Synergos Institute among 22 other figures from the Arab World as “Arab World Social Innovator”. Abi Rached was member of the municipality council of Baabda between 2004 and 2010. He is also the President of the Lebanese Ecological Movement which gathers 60 NGOs.
