Dr. Paul Tabar
Dr. Paul Tabar is an associate professor of sociology/anthropology at LAU - Beirut and the director of LAU’s Institute for Migration Studies. He is also an affiliated researcher at the Centre for Cultural Research, University of Western Sydney. He is a co-author of Bin Laden in the Suburbs: Criminalizing the Arab Other (The Institute of Criminology, Sydney University, 2004), and has published many articles on Lebanese and Arab migrants in international journals. He is currently co-authoring a book on the cultural practices of the Lebanese migrants in Australia.
